Google Bans DVD Critical Of Obama Administration

Well, Presidents are a minority of the population

Search Engine Giant Censors Alex Jones Material For “Advocating Against a Protected Group”

Google has sensationally banned all sales through its shopping merchant of a DVD critical of the Obama administration under the terms of its program policy which bars any material deemed to be “advocating against a protected group”. Apparently, Google considers the government to be a “protected group,” and immune from criticism.

Radio talk show host Alex Jones’ Google merchant account has been completely disabled after the search engine giant sent an email claiming the products listed promoted violence, and refused to link to them on the Infowars Yahoo shopping cart.

America wants Betty White to host "Saturday Night Live"

I guess the country is bored with those so-last-month Haitians and has moved on to more important(?) things

The ball is in your court, Lorne Michaels.

I just got off the phone with the legendary Betty White, and despite her busy schedule the actress hasn't missed the Facebook push to name her as a host of "Saturday Night Live."

"I don’t know where that came from," White said. "That came out of left field. I understand they’ve had all of these hits."

So is the 88-year-old up to the task of holding court at 30 Rock?

"That would be up to Lorne Michaels."

White said she'd have to think on who her dream musical guest would be, because the showbiz veteran has plenty on her plate.

Japan Is Once Again America's Biggest Creditor As Foreigners Cut Back On U.S. Treasuries

WASHINGTON — A record drop in foreign holdings of U.S. Treasury bills in December sent a reminder that the government might have to pay higher interest rates on its debt to continue to attract investors.

China reduced its stake and lost the position it's held for more than a year as the largest foreign holder of Treasury debt. Japan retook the top spot as it boosted its Treasury holdings.

The Treasury Department said foreign holdings of U.S. Treasury bills fell by a record $53 billion in December. That topped the previous record drop of $44.5 billion in April 2009.

Private analysts, though, were split over the significance of the decline. Some doubted that the drop in foreign holdings of short-term Treasuries signified growing unease about holding U.S. debt. They noted that net purchases of longer-term Treasury debt rose in December by $70 billion.

"Family Guy" Offends: The Griffin's vs. The Palin's

Let us try to follow the logic here:
1) Rahm Emmanuel de-humanizes the mentally challenged and offends Sarah Palin
2) Rush Limbaugh de-humanizes the mentally challenged but does NOT offend Sarah Palin because it is "satire"
3) The SATIRE Family Guy humanizes the mentally challenged and offends Sarah Palin
We like Sarah Palin as a porn parody more than a political reality.

(watch the entire episode here):

The inevitable has happened: Family Guy has upset Sarah Palin. On Sunday’s episode, Chris went on a date with a girl from school who happened to have Down syndrome and who happened, halfway through the date, to say, “my mom’s the former governor of Alaska.”

Economy prompts fresh look at North Dakota's "socialist" bank

Money people have in the bank is supposed to go to overdraft fees, service fees, and 30% interest rates on credit cards. What is all this putting-money-in-the-bank-and-having-it-accrue-interest-for-us-stuff? Pinko!

BISMARCK, N.D. — It has no automatic tellers or drive-up windows, doesn't issue credit cards, and tends only a few thousand checking and savings accounts. Its only location is a glass, steamboat-shaped headquarters near the Missouri River, where the business moved from its original 1919 home in a former auto assembly plant.

The Bank of North Dakota — the nation's only state-owned bank — might seem to be a relic. It was the brainchild of a failed flax farmer and one-time Socialist Party organizer during World War I.

But now officials in other states are wondering if it is helping North Dakota sail through the national recession.

Gubernatorial candidates in Florida and Oregon and a Washington state legislator are advocating the creation of state-owned banks in those states. A report prepared for a Vermont House committee last month said the idea had "considerable merit." Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore promotes the bank on his Web site.

Aspartame, renamed AminoSweet, now marketed as natural sweetener

It tastes like Jabba the Hutt's ass, makes you stupid, and was created by Donald Rumsfeld just the way Mother Nature intended

(NaturalNews) In response to growing awareness about the dangers of artificial sweeteners, what does the manufacturer of one of the world's most notable artificial sweeteners do? Why, rename it and begin marketing it as natural, of course. This is precisely the strategy of Ajinomoto, maker of aspartame, which hopes to pull the wool over the eyes of the public with its rebranded version of aspartame, called "AminoSweet".

Over 25 years ago, aspartame was first introduced into the European food supply. Today, it is an everyday component of most diet beverages, sugar-free desserts, and chewing gums in countries worldwide. But the tides have been turning as the general public is waking up to the truth about artificial sweeteners like aspartame and the harm they cause to health. The latest aspartame marketing scheme is a desperate effort to indoctrinate the public into accepting the chemical sweetener as natural and safe, despite evidence to the contrary.
