For the last day or so, many users around the globe have reported problems with their PlayStation 3 gaming consoles, particularly when trying to get online with them. Error codes, lack of PlayStation Network service, and disappearing trophies are some of the symptoms plaguing gamers.
Sony has now released a statement saying they've found the problem and are working on a fix. For gamers who have the PS3 Slim model, released last fall, you're okay to keep on playing, same as before, and can relax. For those who have the original larger-formfactor console, Sony advises you to not use your console for the next 24 hours while they complete the fix.
